The Maker's Table
The Maker’s Table: A Bible Study for Creative Souls
“In the beginning, God created…” Genesis 1:1 (NIV)
What happens when creativity joins bible study? When making something becomes a handheld prayer?
This summer, you are invited to join The Maker’s Table. This bible study will seek to better understand scripture through creative projects like collage, painting, and more. Whether you consider yourself artistic or have never picked up a paintbrush, this bible study is designed for anyone who wants to explore scripture using the arts.
Together with our summer worship series, Art + Soul, we have the opportunity to connect with God the creator in new ways.
Each gathering will include the study of a scripture and a simple creative activity connected to that scripture. You do not need any artistic experience to participate—just a willingness to create, connect, and discover something new. All materials will be provided.
One of the best parts is that each session stands alone, so you can attend one, several, or all four gatherings as your schedule allows.
Dates: Tuesday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 30. Thursday, July 23 and Thursday, July 30. All sessions at 10 am. We will meet in Seekers Classroom.
Come for conversation, creativity, and community as we gather around The Maker’s Table.
