Boy Scouts at Northview

Boy Scout Troop 209 would like to extend their thanks to Northview and the community for their support in the recent Spaghetti Supper.  Over 600 dinners were served!!!

 Cub Scouts are boys who are in the first through fifth grades (ages 7-10).  First grade boys are Tiger cubs, Wolf Cub Scouts are second graders, Bear Cub Scouts are third graders and Weblos Scouts are fourth and fifth graders.

Boy Scouts must be a boy who has completed fifth grade or is 11 years old, or has earned the Arrow of Light award but is under 18 years of age.

If you would like further information about joining the Boy Scouts the church office can put you in touch with the appropriate leaders.

Girl Scouts at Northview

Girl Scouts are also very active at Northview.  We currently have 5 troops which include every level of scouting, from Daisy's to Senior's.

 Any girl who is 5 through 17 years old or in kindergarten through the twelfth grade can become a Girl Scout in the United States. Girls of all races, cultures, and religious groups are welcome in Girl Scouting. Every Girl Scout is expected to make the Girl Scout Promise and to try to live by the Girl Scout Law.

The levels of Girl Scouting are:

  • Daisy Girl Scouts - ages 5-6 or grades K,1
  • Brownie Girl Scouts - ages 6, 7, 8 or grades 1, 2, 3
  • Junior Girl Scouts - ages 8, 9,10,11 or grades 3, 4, 5, 6
  • Cadette Girl Scouts - ages 11, 12, 13, 14 or grades 6, 7, 8, 9
  • Senior Girl Scouts - ages 14, 15, 16, 17 or grades 9, 10, 11, 12
